Hey everyone. Does anyone know the best approach to building rootless chords. Like when you have to make a thirteen chord what notes should be ommitted first if you can't fret them all, and if the roots ommitted what should go in the the base spot?

Hey Tim.. omit the root and 5th first. keep the 3rd to indicate major or minor, keep the 7th to indicate the dominant and the add the 13..
